That’s why we’ve created this review of Hub University, an apartment complex near UF.
Hub University: UF Apartment Review
The Basics
Before we get into the specifics about the apartment complex, here are some quick facts about Hub University:

Location
Located just one block west of campus, Hub University is about a 6-minute walk from the Heavener School of Business. The apartment is around the corner from Publix and Piesanos, a popular local Italian restaurant.
Hub University is located in between Midtown and Downtown and near sorority row.
Hub University is about a 7-minute walk to Midpoint Park & Eatery, a new food truck park that has hammocks and picnic tables.

Parking
Hub University has a parking garage. As of December 2023, parking for vehicles is $100 per month for surface parking or $250 a month for reserved garage parking. For scooters, it’s $60 per month. All rates are subject to change.
Another parking option is neighborhood parking, which is available throughout the city. It costs $216 for the year, but there is no guarantee that you will find a spot because there are not that many spots. Amenities
Hub University offers many amenities, including a rooftop pool and outdoor barbecue area, clubrooms, and private meeting rooms where residents can hold club meetings or work on group projects.
The fitness center at Hub University includes a yoga studio, sauna and tanning salon, and basic workout equipment.
Pricing and Floor Plans
Hub University offers many different floor plans. Depending on which floor plan you choose, the cost of rent can vary greatly.
Here is a list of all of the floor plan options at Hub University:
- Studio
- One bedroom: 1×1
- Two bedroom: 2×1, 2×2
- Three bedroom: 3×3
- Four bedroom: 4×2, 4×4
- Five bedroom: 5×2, 5×5
At the time of publication on December 2023, rates for 2024 – 2025 at Hub University range from the $800s to over $1,900 per person, per month, depending on unit type. All rates are subject to change. You can find current availability and pricing on Hub’s floor plans page.
Each unit is complete with stainless steel appliances and in-unit laundry machines. Hub University also offers upgraded apartments, VIP or Mansions, at a more expensive rate. Mansion apartments have a patio with a hot tub and high-tech appliances.
Hub University is pet-friendly, with certain breed and animal exceptions. The pet fee is a one-time deposit of $250 and $25/month per pet, as of December 2023.
