Hub on 3rd: UF Apartment Review
The Basics
Before getting into specifics, here are some quick facts about the apartment building:

Location
Hub on 3rd is located one block north of campus, near the intersection of 13th Street and University Ave. The apartment is across the street from both Publix and Starbucks.
Hub on 3rd is about a 10-minute walk to the restaurants and bars on University Avenue and a 20-minute walk to Ben Hill Griffin stadium. Hub on 3rd is also just across the street from The Standard, another popular apartment complex in the area.

Parking
The apartment has a parking garage and charges residents about $300/month for cars and $60/month for scooters, as of December 2023. The parking garage can only be used by paying residents, not guests, but the city parking in the surrounding neighborhood can be used by anyone after 4 p.m.
Amenities
Hub on 3rd offers a rooftop sundeck with a pool and hot tub. Other amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, high-speed wi-fi, and free access to private meeting rooms.
The fitness center is complete with various different fitness equipment, and the complex offers fitness and yoga classes for residents who prefer guided exercises. Along with the fitness center, Hub on 3rd has a sauna and steam room.
Hub on 3rd offers controlled access to the building through key fobs, and the apartment complex has support staff on-site 24/7.
Pricing and Floor Plans
Hub on 3rd offers a number of floor plan options that can accommodate anywhere from just one person up to seven people in the townhome 4×5 and 5×4 layouts.
Here is a list of all of the floor plan options at Hub on 3rd:
- Studio
- One bedroom: 1×1
- Two bedroom: 2×1, 2×2
- Three bedroom: 3×2, 3×3
- Four bedroom: 4×3, 4×4, 4×5
- Five bedroom: 5×4
Each floor plan varies in cost, and the different layouts within each floor plan have different prices. At the time of publication on December 2023, rates for 2024 – 2025 at Hub on 3rd range from the $600s to over $1,900 per person, per month, depending on unit type. The apartment also offers VIP suites that are more expensive, but come with upgraded features. All rates are subject to change. Regardless of what floor plan you choose, each apartment is fully furnished and comes with stainless steel appliances, walk-in closets and individually keyed bedrooms.
As of December 2023, certain pets are allowed with a one-time deposit of $250 and $25/month per pet.
